More than 700 workers in trades, health care, and agriculture are invited to apply for Ontario PNP membership.

A provincial nomination was issued to those qualified for Ontario’s Foreign Worker and In-Demand Skills programs.

A provincial nomination application deadline was set for February 9.

Candidates with profiles in the OINP’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system were sent invitations to apply. Foreign Workers and In-Demand Skills are two options for these applicants under the Employer Job Offer category.

There was a total of three draws from the two streams. Candidates for the Foreign Worker program were separated into two groups: 476 were selected from a pool of trades jobs, and 166 were selected from a broader pool. More than 100 people were chosen to participate in the In-Demand Skills draw.
