What is the start-up visa program?
Entrepreneurs who want to start a new firm in Canada can apply for a start-up visa from Canada. Entrepreneurs who come to Canada from other countries must show that their ventures are innovative, generate new Canadian jobs, and compete globally.
There are four requirements you need to meet to be eligible for a Canadian start-up visa:
1. A qualifying business.
2. A letter of support from a designated organization.
3. Meet the language requirements.
4. Proof of funds.
Designated organizations for a start-up visa
These documents are essential to your startup visa application since they detail your agreement with one or more designated organizations. Unlike the federal and provincial investor programs, there will be no need for candidates to contribute their own money, which requires applicants to invest their own money.
Canadian angel investors or venture capital funds approved by Canada’s government must provide at least $75,000 to those who meet the eligibility standards. If the applicant is accepted into a reputable Canadian incubator, there is no need for an investor’s money.

The Quebec Entrepreneurial Program
To participate in the Quebec Entrepreneur Program, immigrants must have the ability to start a new business or purchase and operate an existing firm in the province of Quebec.
Immigrant entrepreneurs having the ability to start a new business or buy and operate an existing one can apply for the Quebec Entrepreneur Program. Immigrating to Quebec is possible for successful applicants to start a business or continue their studies. Applicants can apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ – Certificat de Selection du Quebec ) as part of this program. An applicant can apply for Canadian permanent residence once they receive a CSQ.
An experienced investor with substantial assets and personal net worth might take advantage of the Quebec Investor Program. With net assets of at least 2 million Canadian dollars and the ability to invest at least 1,200,000 Canadian dollars with a Quebec financial intermediary, applicants can apply to the Quebec Investor Program.
The Quebec Self-Employed Worker Program permits self-employed individuals to relocate to Quebec and start their businesses. Net assets of at least CAD 100,000 and two years experience in the field they wish to practice in Quebec are required to be eligible for this program.
